PSE Hunter, Multi-Purpose, E-Lite and E-Tac stocks come as standard with our unique "Shark-Skin" type grip. This is a textured grip that covers the entire outside of the stock and is smoother in the cheek area of the stock.
PSE Evolution stocks come as standard with a stippling grip on the pistol grip and stock for-end. There are options to order the Evolution without the stippling also (i.e. smooth), however we would advise to opt for the stippling grip option.
To remove a spacer you can use a 4mm allen key. There are two screws in the recoil pad. You shouldn't over tighten when re-fitting, just enough so the pad doesn't move. [Please note some stock models may require a 3mm allen key.]
In essence the main difference is weight and strength.
PSE E-Tac Ultra-Light stocks typically weigh less than 1000 grams / 35 Oz. The Mil-Spec versions weigh approximately 10-20% more than the Ultra-Light versions. In terms of design they are the same. The difference is that the Mil-Spec versions are stronger in the critical areas due to extra materials being added at the stock lay-up stage of production.
